The purpose of this organization is to encourage a closer association among parents, their sons and daughters, and teachers by providing social activities and supporting worthwhile school projects. At the same time, the Parent-Faculty Organization endeavors to gain community and state support for technical education. The organization has worked extremely hard to raise funds to enhance the educational experience of students at Ellis Tech.

 

2003-2004 Activities
 
Drug Awareness Presentation by Gary Jost, Ellis Tech Patrol Officer and George Grauer, Plainfield School Resource Officer, will take place on Thursday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Ellis Tech Cafeteria.  This important program will highlight new developments in the drug world and should not be missed because "What you don't know can hurt them." 
 
The Fall Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, November 1 from 9-4. The show will feature a wide variety of handmade craft items, a bake sale, and chili and cornbread for lunch.  Admission is $1.  Call Melody at 774-4947 about space availability.
 
The Winter Thaw Flea Market is scheduled for March 6, 2004.  Admission is $1.
 
The 12th Annual Country Antiques in Connecticut's Quiet Corner presents 50 top dealers from around the Northeast on Saturday, March 27, 2004, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  General admission is $6 (save $1 with an ad/card or print out).  Early buyers admitted at 9:00 for $10.  A great grilled chicken luncheon and decadent desserts available.  View photos and read news articles of past shows on this site.  For further information contact Jan Praytor by email at jpraytor@ellistechpfo.org
