Three Special Presentations are being
brought to you this Spring by the PFO and The Action Committee on Parental
Involvement: 1. Wednesday, February 25, 2004.
Principal, Gail Welburn
will speak on the Graduation
Requirements affecting the class of 2006 and beyond.
Linda Edmonds a teacher and parent of a 9th grade
student will explain how parents can help their students perform better on
the CAPT. 2. Thursday, March 18, 2004.
Elizabeth Cracco, PhD. will speak
to parents about signs and treatment of depression and prevention
of teen suicide. 3. Thursday, April 15, 2004.
Gary Jost and George Grauer will offer insights into the issue of
parental rights when a child reaches 16. The Winter Thaw Flea Market will
take place on Saturday, March 6, 2004 from 8-2.
It promises to be bigger and better than ever.

chili, cornbread, or your time. Come out and support our second major fundraiser of the year!

The 12th Annual Country
Antique Show, our biggest money
making activity of the year has received national notice in the antiques
trade papers. Students make a
major contribution in construction and wiring of the 50 booths as well as
providing porter service to the dealers.
This year the show takes place on Saturday, March 27, 2004.
Regular hours are 10—3 for a $5 admission and early admission
starts at 9:00 for $10. The
grilled chicken always gets rave reviews and don’t forget one of the
tempting desserts. Your help
on Saturday would be greatly appreciated as would your assistance in
soliciting ads for the show program. To volunteer call Jan Praytor at
774-8511 x1135 Please come and show your support! The following will be available for
purchase at the three
presentation evenings and Freshmen Nights:
