PFO Meeting

Minutes—September 5, 2002 

The meeting was called to order at 2:55. 

Discussion regarding future fundraisers:

          Craft Fair, Flea Market, Antique Show—dates are set and approval has been received

          Shoe sale-bring possible date to the September 19 meeting

          Request matching funds from the casinos and large corporations/local businesses 

Discussion regarding projects/needs

          Student in Auto Body shop needs tools

          Computers in lab need upgrading at $143 each

          Subsidize the cost of student and faculty agendas

          Student breakfasts during CAPT/NOCTI—Subsidize and parent help

          T-shirts for CAPT/NOCTI

          Comfortable chairs for faculty room 

Motion to pay $137.28 for the Freshman Ice Cream Social was made by Susan Manning and seconded by Melody Guillemette.  The motion carried. 

Motion to buy 10 BPR kits (up to $250) for needy students was made by Vinnie Palladino and seconded by Mark Mathieu.  The motion carried. 

The next regular meeting will take place on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 6:00 in the faculty dining room. 

The meeting adjourned at 3:27 P.M.
