PFO Meeting--Minutes

 The meeting was rescheduled due to inclement weather.                    

 The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m.

 
Topics discussed:

Organizational details for the April 9 Winter Thaw Flea Market were discussed.

 The possibility of purchasing a Mimio device to transfer white board notes to a computer was discussed.  Further information is needed regarding the cost and efficacy of such a device.

 New Business:

Due to the demands of our three major PFO fundraisers, the need exists for additional 8’ folding tables.  A source of free or inexpensive tables is being sought.  The lightweight, plastic or composite type would be preferable to the conventional type.

Linda Edmonds reported the current bank account balances.

 Motions:

Motion #1 A motion was made to pay $20 per student up to $1000 for students attending the Senior Class Trip.  The motion was made by Chris Millette and seconded by Heidi Montigny.  The motion carried.

Motion #2   A motion was made to pay $168.10 for half the cost of a hairdressing kit for a needy student.  The motion was made by Chris Millette and seconded by Heidi Montigny.  The motion carried.

Motion #3   A motion to purchase lightly used hairdressing kits to sell to future deserving students was made by Chris Millette and seconded by Heidi Montigny.  The motion carried.

Motion #4   A motion was made to purchase knit polo shirts to sell to incoming freshmen who would wear them during their exploratory time.  The motion was made by Linda Edmonds and seconded by Melody Guillemette.  The motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
