The 12thannual Country Antiques in Connecticut's Quiet Corner, a harbinger of spring for the little borough of Danielson in the Connecticut's northeast comer, will showcase 50 of New England's fmest country antiques dealers on Saturday, March 27,2004. H. H. Ellis Regional Technical School, 613 Upper Maple Street in Danielson, Connecticut will host the show which will run from 10:0.0.a.m.--3:0.0p.m. For those who just can't wait for the 10:00.opening, early admission will begin at 9:0.0.a.m. In its twelve years, the Danielson show has blossomed into a fine source of high quality, one-of-a-kind, affordable treasures for the new and advanced collector. Most of last year's dealers are returning with a fresh array of antiques in paint and other original surfaces as well as all manner of decorative accessories for the country home and garden. Janet and Bob Benjamins on of WestBarnstable,Massachusetts are back with 18thand 19th century country Americana. Kathy Schoemer of Acworth, New Hampshire will be bringing fresh fmds from the North. Returning this year with 18th century furniture and accessories are Jan and John Maggs of Conway, Massachusetts. Mary White, Mary Elliott, Sandy Elliott and Betty Ann Lavallee always offer the best in country textiles, and Debbie Ferguson and Susan WIrth consistently fill their booths with furniture in original surfaces as well as decorative and functional accessories. Bruce Henley of Wethersfield, CT, Hollis Brodrick of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Dan Romani of Chepatchet, RI and Paula Timmins McColgan of Hopkinton, NH promise lots of wonderful one-of-a-kind pieces sure to appeal to the eye and the pocketbook. Come to Danielson and enjoy Country in the country. This show has earned a reputation for a terrific gourmet luncheon and decadent dessert offerings to round out the day. Admission is $5 (9:0.0.a.m. admission is $10.), and proceeds benefit the Ellis Tech Parent-Faculty Organization.
